Karnataka's gardening department established the Karnataka Siri Gardening Garden (KSHG) to promote inter-state cooperation through tourism. The garden, which covers 38 acres, was built on land formerly owned by the ancient Mysore monarchy and donated to the Karnataka government by the Maharaja in 1964. The park was established in 2018 and is a new tourist attraction in Ooty.

This garden's primary attractions include a topiary garden, fields, flower beds, an Italian garden, a maze garden, a rose garden, a sunken garden, check dams, and a tea garden spread out across hills and valleys. The labyrinth garden is an outdoor labyrinth with fence walls constructed of Cyprus plants that are perfectly formed to divide into pathways. The labyrinth garden culture originated in Europe and is intended to confound travellers within a natural labyrinth chamber while also providing entertaining activities and relaxation. The diverse flowers cultivated in 50,000 pots will be an additional attraction to this park. Other features include a maple tree trail and separate areas for flowers and herbs.

Topiary, which can be observed throughout the garden, is an art style that involves adding shapes like animals, birds, and other models to dense plants that grow there. The Doddabetta Peak, the tallest summit in the Nilgiri Hills, is one of Ooty's most picturesque vistas. Doddabetta Mountain, at an elevation of approximately 8,650 feet, is one of the most well-known attractions in this hill town. The weather in Doddabetta is pleasant all year, and it is advisable to carry woollens while visiting during the rainy season and winter. The wonderful thing about Doddabetta Mountain in Ooty is that visitors can drive to the summit and explore the more minor trekking routes.
