Dolphin's nose, situated about 12 kilometres from Coonoor, is around 1500 meters above sea level. The tip of this massive rock top resembles a dolphin's Snout, and it is one of Tamil Nadu's most popular tourist attractions. It is located in the centre of the Nilgiris Hills (also known as the Blue Mountains). The massive granite structure is very unique. Huge valleys can be found on each side of the resort, with a good view of Catherine Falls, another well-known tourist destination with a current several thousand meters below and a short distance from the dolphin's Snout.

Sim's Park, located north of Coonoor Train Station in Coonoor, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, is only one of the numerous attractions in this breathtaking landscape.

Sim's Park boasts excellently landscaped gardens and paths with gorgeous flowers scattered throughout. The Park also has a variety of flower species acquired from all over the country. Fishing opportunities are available in the Park's lake.
