Move deep into Ooty and experience the true wonder of nature! Pykara waterfalls are a genuine treat, set against a background of beautiful green forest. Pykara is a town around 20 kilometres from the large metropolis. The Pykara River runs through town and is considered sacred by the locals. 

Pykara Falls and Lake are well known as Pykara Falls. The falls are divided into two parts: 61 meters and 55 meters. The river's beauty and majestic setting make it an ideal destination for an adventurous weekend. Pykara is a perfect picnic place for families, friends, and couples of all ages. Pykara Falls is one of the most interesting sights you will ever see. 

Pykara Falls offers a wide range of activities. Visitors may take a boat ride on Pykara Lake or hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views. If they prefer to experience the falls in a more peaceful environment, there are many cottages nearby that are ideal places to stay. 

Pykara Waterfall is one of Ooty's primary attractions. A few hundred meters north of the lake, the river falls from the cliffs to form the famed Pykara Falls. The neighbouring Boat Club (or boathouse, often called) adds to the appeal of this tiny, sprawling tourist complex nestled in the hills.

It should be noted that these boats, which can accommodate up to ten people apiece, have become a popular attraction among visitors. Because these were all-weather boats, a fee of Rs. 500 was charged for each 20-minute trip. On average, 2,000 people visit Pykara Lake each day.
